I don’t like this design.
I don’t like this design. It’s too cold, too masculine, too formal: so not me.
The glass head on the side was my last minute back-up plan. You see, I ordered this phrenology head and have been waiting for it to come in. Turns out the sender completely screwed up my address and made up some street that is nowhere in Dallas. So, UPS sent it back to them. They are sending me another, but it won’t be here for several days still. I was only planning on buliding the design around that! Argh. So, I located the glass head at Pier 1 the other day and thought it would work as a back-up.
I also thought I would like the color blue on my site. I am now so over blue.
I’m not going to build any more of the site in this design. The archives will continue to not work. All you get is the current stuff and the webcam for the next week. But, I promise to keep blogging, just for you.
Oh, yesterday was my one year anniversary of blogging! If I had the archives working, I would point you to my very banal first post, but they aren’t, so I shall spare you from that.
Baby! I love it! I’m so glad you’re back! I was dying without my random thoughts …
How spooky … I have the same large glass head in my apartment. It’s looking at me right now.
I love the new design for so many other reasons too … very clean, cool and warm all at once.
Oh! I forgot to mention that I used to have that same Pier 1 glass head, too. I don’t remember what happened to it. I had it forever. My friend Jorge cracked it somehow.
I think it looks kinda cool and blue is fun.
The design looks great to me. Remember, others have built legacies on glass figures.
80% of Americans say blue is their favorite color. What’s yours? (Orange is a nice choice)
I like it…but I am masculine, and formal.
perhaps if you kept the navy background, but chose a more contrasting colour for the links and other elements. Or vice vesa, keep all the blues except the bg (navy is fairly masculine and formal.)
