I have a great difficulty

I have a great difficulty remembering the day-to-day life I lead. Tonight, Matt asked me, “Was I in town on my birthday?” and I had to look in my archives in order to remember if he was. If I hadn’t blogged about the drive home from Amanda and Connie’s party, I would never have been able to tell him he was in town then. Random Thoughts isn’t so much a journal of my daily life as it is quirky observations, so I have started another blog to chronicle the minutiae. Presenting: Frontal Lobe.

    ‘frontal lobe’ is a brilliant, brilliant idea. i often use my archives for an extra memory module, but then again i often fail to record the basics. forced to resort to ‘oh, around the time i thought/wrote this, i did this’.
    i may borrow your idea. it’s a great one.
