This morning, the bird was

April 30th, 2002

This morning, the bird was gone! I’m guessing that maybe it was a teenage bird that has just learned to fly. Maybe it fell out of a tree and was stunned and just needed a good night’s rest. Bye-bye black bird!

Yep, not only did it probably not fly away — by putting it in a box, you made a delicious entree of bird served over blanket. Nice, you bird killer. Why you gotta be hatin’ our feathered friends?

Um, hello? Look at frontal lobe.
And the patio is three floors up from the ground. I’ve never seen a cat around. And there was no blanket in the box.

Maybe he took his broken wings and learned to fly. All his life,
he was only waiting for this moment to arise. Into the light of the dark black night. Blackbird fly, blackbird fly into the light of the dark black night.
