Random Thoughts from a Large Head

I’m back. I got in at 2am last night after an amazing week of hard work, loads of fun, and too much rocking out in a 15-passenger van. Someday I will have to tell you about nearly getting kicked out of the Super-Walmart. For now, I’m exhausted and sick (I think the kids passed something around) and need to go back to bed.

My hair is purple and I am leaving my computer behind for a week. I’m off on a mission trip as an adult chaperone for my senior high youth. We’re going to San Marcos, Texas to work on houses, tube, and have lots of fun. I will most likely be out of contact until next Sunday. Bye!

Why does the Amazon Gold Box think I am in construction? Today I was offered a tape rule, a Leatherman 14 tools-in-one, a set of hearing protection headphones with AM/FM stereo, a miter finder, and a 50′ air hose. I have never purchased anything even remotely construction-like from Amazon. It is as if they think I’m some burly man who spends his days at the worksite and his nights surfing Amazon (with this wishlist? I think not.).

I guess my options are better than Matt’s. He was offered a breadmaker and Kate and Leopold.
