Not a good start

Six shopping days to go and I’ve finally started Christmas shopping. Amount spent on others: $72. Amount spent on self: $30. Silly Leia! Christmas is about giving! Must do better tomorrow.

I started my Christmas shopping on Thursday afternoon, rested Friday and resumed today. All finished now! It’s the first time ever I’ve finished before Christmas Eve. My present to self-indulgence ratio is about the same as yours
Christmas cards? Now that’s a different story. Bought ‘em, got enough postage stamps, made a list, but haven’t written one yet. If I don’t have ‘em in the postbox before lunchtime toorrow, they’re not all gonna make it on time.
