These are a few of my favorite things!
Who’s coming to Sing-A-Long “Sound Of Music” with me?
Who’s coming to Sing-A-Long “Sound Of Music” with me?
How sad is it that I can’t remember someone’s name that I have met multiple times, gone to several parties with them, even been to their house? How much sadder is it that I can remember their URL so I am able to find their name by looking it up with WHOIS?
I’m going to see a sneak preview of The Recruit tonight. Colin Farrell! YUMMY!
Speaking of, his companion in this photo from the Golden Globes looks like she’s had a head transplant. My head would look just as natural on that body:

I was going to post that if you wanted to rip my heart out and stomp on it, that’s already been done this week. Twice. I was going to post that I am so saddened by all the crap happening around me that I want to vomit. I was going to post that I was sick of all humans and I didn’t want anything to do with them anymore.
Then I drove by this house, and decided that humans aren’t so bad after all:

For over a week, Amazon has been recommending The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas DVD to me. WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY, AMAZON?
For 2003, I have a tiny daily calendar called “Women’s Wit”. Every day, it features a sassy little quote from a sassy woman. A few of my favorites so far:
“The telephone is a good way to talk to people without having to buy them a drink.” –Fran Lebowitz
“It’s hard to be funny when you have to be clean.” –Mae West
“Macho does not prove mucho.” –Zsa Zsa Gabor
(I’m really just posting this so you know I’m still alive. I’m rethinking this site.)
Get yourself to a movie theatre ASAP and see Chicago. Beautiful. Brilliant. My favorite song was “We Both Reached For the Gun” – amazingly choreographed. Loved it. I wanted to applaud after almost every song and had to remind myself that I wasn’t seeing the play, but was at the movies.
I was once a huge musical theatre fan and I think seeing this film has reawakened something sleeping within me. I’m going to have to buy the soundtrack as soon as it comes out.
Also, this photo of Catherine Zeta-Jones in “Cell Block Tango” is hot.
Bryan has uploaded photos from our team’s efforts on the Christmas Scavenger Hunt from last month. Somehow, our team won, even though the above pictured crazy person was a team member.
Here’s hoping aught-three is better than aught-two.
