How sad is it that I can’t remember someone’s name that I have met multiple times, gone to several parties with them, even been to their house? How much sadder is it that I can remember their URL so I am able to find their name by looking it up with WHOIS?

For 2003, I have a tiny daily calendar called “Women’s Wit”. Every day, it features a sassy little quote from a sassy woman. A few of my favorites so far:

Get yourself to a movie theatre ASAP and see Chicago. Beautiful. Brilliant. My favorite song was “We Both Reached For the Gun” - amazingly choreographed. Loved it. I wanted to applaud after almost every song and had to remind myself that I wasn’t seeing the play, but was at the movies.

I was once a huge musical theatre fan and I think seeing this film has reawakened something sleeping within me. I’m going to have to buy the soundtrack as soon as it comes out.

Also, this photo of Catherine Zeta-Jones in “Cell Block Tango” is hot.
