She stole my garters!

January 4th, 2003

Get yourself to a movie theatre ASAP and see Chicago. Beautiful. Brilliant. My favorite song was “We Both Reached For the Gun” – amazingly choreographed. Loved it. I wanted to applaud after almost every song and had to remind myself that I wasn’t seeing the play, but was at the movies.

I was once a huge musical theatre fan and I think seeing this film has reawakened something sleeping within me. I’m going to have to buy the soundtrack as soon as it comes out.

Also, this photo of Catherine Zeta-Jones in “Cell Block Tango” is hot.

Hey, I just got back from seeing it, too! Which showing did you see? We saw the 7:30 at the UA Park.
It was fantastic. I saw it on Broadway a couple of years ago, and didn’t think a movie version would work. I can admit I was wrong.

I haven’t seen the movie, but you’re right…that picture is hot. Wow.

Jeff – I saw it at the AMC Mesquite. I demanded Stadium Seating and I got it.

Karen – It’s a line from the movie and none of your business.

Umm. Yes, yes it is. Really very much so. A lot. And it doesn’t even look like her.
    Happy New Year, Leia!

I was surprised it was only playing in like 4 theaters around here. It was nostalgic to see a movie at the UA Park, despite the lack of comfy seats.

it is amazing, isn’t it? i mean, who would’ve imagined that those three leads could carry the full weight of a movie musical? especially gere. the man was producing charm like a krispy kreme donut factory.
