Inkblots Magazine
July 18th, 2003
Several months ago, renaissance man Geoffrey Long asked me to write him some words for his web magazine, Inkblots Magazine. Today, my story was published. I present to you: Desperation and Apathy in Mississippi. It’s part of a great issue with works by Kevin Smokler, Heather Champ, Derek Powazek, Rannie Turingan, and Ernie Hsiung. Read it all, I dare you.

My sister-in-law lived about an hour from Tunica while doing a tour in Teach for America. It’s a tough place.
Just wanted to say thinks for joining us! It was a real pleasure to include your work.
