New phone goodness
July 17th, 2003
I don’t think you appreciate how awesome my new phone is. You can really only fully comprehend how awesome is is when you see it compared to my old phone:

The old phone is fully 3/4″ thick. The new? A slim 7/16″. And the weight? I barely realize the new phone exists!
No more “Is that your laptop?” jokes for me!
You can commence drooling.

because size matters
i hate you.
Leia, if you don’t have any use for the old phone, our school collects them for points towards purchasing a computer and other items.
Any of your friends that wish to donate, please send

This is the elementary school that Leia and her sister,Carolyn, attended
and where I have taught for 29 years. This coming year will probably be my last! So girls be ready to put on a retirement party or if not possible, I like presents!!!
I have a couple I can send your way, Mom. Do they need chargers and everything?
Also, mental noted: retirement presents.
OK, it’s an improvement but drool? Hardly?
I mean you don’t expect us geeks to drool over that.. no colour screen for a start!
But I’m sure it makes a difference to you and that’s what counts (he said rapidly back-pedalling as he realises this is his first comment here for about 6 months…)
I’m drooling! It lets me talk for more than three minutes before dying! This is a technological revolution!
That old old phone you had always reminded me out of the 60’s Star Trek.
oh, but it’s so sleek and sexy. who needs color screens when your phone just screams style?
Did your old phone come in one of those carry bags with the cord permanently attached?
Just wondering….
Be careful with that baby - I heard the last time I was at the Sprint store that a lot of people forget they are in their pocket and they sit on them! Snapping them, since they are long. It is a definite improvement over your last phone though!
