That guy has always creeped me out with his smile. Will you still talk to us now that you’re a TV star?
For a fee.
Hey, congratulations on yet another interview!
So how come the local media never interview bloggers who post more than once a week??
Heh … !
Is that guy wearing make up?
Either that or he went overboard with the plastic surgery.
He looks like a gay wax museum mannequin.
But maybe that should be expected from FOX.
I have to agree with brykMantra……
Are we SURE that’s not a fright mask?
Maybe it’s an android.
Not that it has anything to do with the interview (though that IS cool), but I noticed that you have Poe in your playlist. Heh. I haven’t heard Poe since our freshman year of college. For some reason, it reminds me of the parking lot of Butler Plaza. Go figure.
I just saw the news story. Very nice. You’re now famous!
Yeah, I saw it too, way to go!
Although I get the feeling that Channel 4 still doesn’t get it … They kept talking about how blogs give a voice to regular everyday people, but the only local blogs they showed besides yours were those of D Magazine and Marc Cuban! I was hoping some of the local people would be highlighted, but they stuck with the media blogs.
But we should be glad that they publicized your DFW Blogs page, where viewers can check some of us out — thanks, Leia!
(PS My blog name came up in the list they were showing, right at the end — woo-hoo!)
Forgot to add: Thanks also for the heads-up on the broadcast — I would have missed it otherwise!
Wow, I know a celebrity!
I watched last night – it was actually one of the better spots on blogging I’ve seen. You came off great leia – intelligent, savvy, and sassy! Although the editing on the rest of the piece was a little frenetic (seizure inducing MTV-style), but maybe I’m just getting old.
I have been awed (in a tremendously good way) by you for years – this interview just added to the awe. Kudos to you!
All male reporters wear foundation on camera, but is that guy wearing eyeliner too? He looks like he wears more makeup than I do on camera.
Congrats on the interview! Did you tell Eric that he is wearing too much eye liner
You might like to know, the story made it all the way down here to Austin; we (FOX 7) aired it on our Sunday newscast tonight. My producer didn’t believe me when I said, “Hey, I know her!”
