I laughed out loud. Hard.
(360° is a social network by Yahoo! in beta. I have a tendency to go a bit crazy in the early days of a new social network, adding friends, updating profiles, and just generally following the herd. Let me know if you want to be a sheep, too.)
Why didn’t anyone tell me that 28 Days Later… wasn’t so much a scary things jump out at you making you pee your pants movie and more just plain good? Here all this time I’d misjudged it.
The best quote from my hour on the phone with various Sprint PCS support techs today:
“So, I’m confused. You’re saying that the camera that I’ve been taking pictures with isn’t actually a camera and that’s why I can’t send photos?”
“Bureaucratized External Paternalism” is just about the silliest way I’ve ever heard to say big daddy government is going to take care of you.
As far as I can recall, I’ve never been told to flushdns before. Now I’ve been told twice in one hour.
I’ve decided I need to get back on the blog bandwagon. I need to spruce up this joint, add some new features, and write more.
In order to restore my love for this site, I’m going to have to go through an exercise that is probably going to end up making you hate me since I’ll be tripping your RSS reader so often: I’m going to have to post a lot. And, it’s going to be a lot of crap at first. Hopefully, as I get back into the swing of thinking “hey, I should blog that”, my posts will improve.
So watch out for these changes to come:
- More posts
- Upgrading MT
- Move to a new host
- (Hopefully) Less comment spam
- Better HTML
- Back to a design that has more than one post on the front page
- New designs? maybe.
- Better CSS
- Frontal Lobe (links) section powered by deli.cio.us? Need to investigate
- Tags (The Wave of The Future®™)
Don’t say I never did anything for you.
I joined Netflix again. I want to be your friend. Send friend invites to netflix at leiascofield dot com.
Made it back to Dallas. Up 24 hours straight minus that 10 minute shut-eye period in the parking lot of the Flying J in Waco.
SXSW rocked my socks. Perhaps moreso than in years past. More later.
Don’t forget the DFW Blogs Cocktail Event tonight.
Work calls.
I’m at SXSW Interactive through Tuesday. Please come up and say hi if you’re here!
