Today is my sister’s 25th birthday. I can’t believe she’s getting so old.
Carolyn, I’m glad that over the last few years we have grown to be good friends, even though we’re separated by thousands of miles. You’re a beautiful woman and I can’t wait to see how successful you are. LYLAS — oh wait — you are my sister! LOVE YOU.
Everybody, wish Carolyn a happy 25th birthday!
This alone will make the next five months worth living:
Serenity
Anything else that happens between now and September 30 is just icing on the cake.
Perhaps I’m missing some wonderful site out there, but I am having trouble discovering the links discovered by people I know without specifically asking them, “What’s your del.icio.us name?” Is there an easier way to find people I know on there?
If you’re keeping links on del.icio.us, let me know so I can subscribe to your links.
I’m really looking for some women keeping del.icio.us links — my inbox is quite masculine at the moment. I need to girly it up.
If you’re looking for my links, they are at http://del.icio.us/leias.
I had to euthanize Fish this evening. He’d gotten very sick, quite possibly with Fish Tuberculosis, and wasn’t responding to any medicines.
Thanks, Fish, for the good times and the laughter.
I can’t believe a $3 fish made me cry.

Behold! Frontal Lobe links are now powered by del.icio.us! I used these instructions on daily blog posting with del.icio.us to set it up.
All it took was some additions to my stylesheet to make it fit with the look of my site.
Here’s the code that is posted to MT by del.icio.us:
<ul class=”delicious”>
<li>
<div class=”delicious-link”>Link with description</div>
<div class=”delicious-extended”>Extended text</div>
<div class=”delicious-tags”>(tags: tag1 tag2 tag3)</div>
</li>
</ul>
I’ve also started displaying the last five photos I’ve uploaded to flickr. I got a mobile phone with a camera in it a few weeks back, so I’ve been adding shots from my adventures out in the world. The camera isn’t great (0.3 megapixels), but it’s a fun glimpse into my life.
Britney Spears’ pregnancy announcement sure is an effective promotional tactic for her newly redesigned website.
Stortroopers are back, four years after they were the meme of the moment.
My digital self-perception, then and now:

I take back everything I have ever said that was negative about Apple and the Knox/Henderson Apple store.
About a month ago, my iPod forgot all of its songs and how to mount on a PC. I’m fairly certain this is related to my dropping it on the cement.
This afternoon, I finally took it in to the Genius Bar at the Knox/Henderson Apple store. After doing a few checks, they gave me a new one. GAVE me a NEW one. !!!!
Apparently, my iPod was still under warranty (which I don’t quite understand since I bought a refurbished unit and thought it had a very limited warranty, but I wasn’t going to argue the point).
I was so pleased, I bought a case.
Then I gleefully ran out of there fast so they wouldn’t take the new iPod back.
They can have it when they pry it out of my cold, dead hands. I don’t want to have to listen to Dallas radio EVER again.
If you’re seeing this entry, then I’ve been mostly successful in transferring all of this site over to a new host. DNS has propogated, MT is able to publish, and children everywhere are rejoicing. I’ve noticed that there may be some includes broken here and there, but those shall remain for another day.
So, let’s review my list of promises to you:
More posts Going pretty well, I think.
