New post to new host.

April 1st, 2005

If you’re seeing this entry, then I’ve been mostly successful in transferring all of this site over to a new host. DNS has propogated, MT is able to publish, and children everywhere are rejoicing. I’ve noticed that there may be some includes broken here and there, but those shall remain for another day.

So, let’s review my list of promises to you:

  • More posts Going pretty well, I think.
  • Upgrading MT
  • Move to a new host
  • (Hopefully) Less comment spam Noticable difference running Blacklist 2.x
  • Better HTML
  • Back to a design that has more than one post on the front page
  • New designs? maybe.
  • Better CSS
  • Frontal Lobe (links) section powered by deli.cio.us? Need to investigate
  • Tags (The Wave of The Future®™)

And let’s now add:

  • Fix broken includes?

I find it strangely amusing that all of the former Apt Minds hostees seem to have gone to Dreamhost. Talk about sheep. Baaaaah.

We go where the good stuff is.

    ¡Dreamhost es muy bueno!
Also, consider installing the MT-Keystrokes plugin. Between that and Blacklist, I don’t get any comment spam anymore.

How about a new color scheme? Not that sea green isn’t cool….

Gosh, first visit here in years? And it’s still got that nice clean green. Lovely.

There is something nice about a Simple Green.

You’re right, Katie – it works great on countertops.
