I’ve Got the Power
This front porch light wouldn’t normally be anything special except that it hasn’t had power since I moved into the house. I had an electrician out this morning and he determined it was a combination of some loose wiring and not screwing the bulb in hard enough. Apparently, even though you think you’ve screwed the bulb enough, you have to screw it more to get it turned on.
Afrim, the electrician from Latin Electric, also helped me figure out what was going on with the power on the back side of the house, so now my house will be all lit up at night.
I can’t tell you how happy this makes me. I’ve had a dark exterior since day one at the house. I even avoided going home Halloween night because I didn’t want to have any trick-or-treaters coming to my door in the dark and I didn’t want to be the new neighbor who hides in the house instead of offering candy.

Out of curiousity, how exactly would the trick or treaters know that you WEREN’T hiding inside…?
