Mom Update - Hiatal Hernia Surgery

Mom had her surgery for the hiatal hernia today. She’s in recovery right now. The surgeon wasn’t able to completely put her stomach back in the right place, but did repair the hernia to her satisfaction.

Originally, her surgery was scheduled for this evening. It was moved up to early afternoon, which worked out well as I had a flight back to Texas scheduled at the same time. It’s comforting to know that she came through well before I leave town, instead of fretting through my flight.
