Pharmaceutical Unrest

I’ve been sick since late Monday night with a crappy sore throat/slight fever ick that was still lingering despite two full days off work and in bed. Saturday afternoon, I went to the doctor where I was diagnosed with a fun bacterial sinus infection!
Now I have prescriptions which are making me feel worse than before. I have a decongestant/expectorant thing to clear me all out, but I wasn’t terribly congested, so there’s nothing there to really clear, so I just feel very dehydrated and achy. Boo.

Did they give you Mucinex? Seriously, I am on a crusade to promote that stuff. It rocks. Rob, on the other hand, is on a crusade to promote Airborne. Whatever you take, I hope you feel better!

Awesome! I just had this last week. I got a z-pak for my efforts. You’ve probably already experienced the joy of your sinus fluids shifting in the night and being able to both feel AND hear that shift. It was just like xmas and my birthday when it happened to me. Feel better soon!
