Random Thoughts from a Large Head

If you, like me, enjoyed the previous works of Nelly Furtado for their feisty folkiness, I do not advise running out to pick up her new album Loose. I’d sum it up as saying it would be a great album if a) it was her first album and she was 16 years old, b) she didn’t jump on the rap-backed, over-processed, Gwen Stefani bandwagon or c) the current year was 1986.

• Too much time spent at hospitals

• 2 visits from my sister
• 2 crimes: held up in my garage and car vandalized
• 9 trips: California (2), Florida (2), Arkansas (1), Las Vegas (1), Austin (3)
• Lost and gained same 12 pounds several times
• Attended 3 weddings
• Finally achieved a dream
• Took 3 classes
• Took 1 semester off
• Worked hard (2142.75 hours logged)
• Asked Jim to move in with me
