New Spectacles

Nearly 6.5 years after buying my last pair, I bought new glasses today. My allergies have been causing a lot of irritation in my eyes, and my contacts have been driving me nuts. One just plain fell out yesterday, deciding it would rather face a life of drying to a crisp rather than stay in my eye one second more. The time had come to start rotating glasses back into my seeing regimen.
I’m amazed by how crisp everything is with the glasses. I’ve willingly sacrificed some visual quality in order to wear more flexible contacts. Now, it’s like I see the world in high definition.

i’m feeling you… In reverse. Went from the sharpness of glasses to the fuzziness of contacts. I didn’t realize how dramatic it was until I changed back. Crazy.
