History: I started designing web sites in the fall of 1997 and various iterations of a personal site reside around the web at free hosts. In February 2000, when looking for a job, I purchased the leiascofield.com domain and put a portfolio site up. In July 2000, I happened upon these things called weblogs and thought that would be a much more interesting use for my site now that I had a job. In late August 2000, I began blogging in earnest, noting interesting sites, people, and events in my life, not to mention the random thoughts in my large head.
In August 2001, alargehead.com was opened for business and all the content from leiascofield.com was moved to the new domain.
